We welcome your submissions to be highlighted by the World Naturopathic Federation. These can include:

Open-access, online information that individual naturopaths/NDs have created for other naturopaths/NDs or for the public. Examples include free web guides on nutrition or integrative care, openly published reference charts, or educational handouts for patients about lifestyle, nutrition, or herbal safety.

Other open-access, naturopathic-based information that would be applicable to other naturopaths/NDs

Diagrams and Schematics including illustrated flowcharts showing how to use naturopathic treatments, mind maps on holistic care approaches, pyramid diagrams explaining the foundations of naturopathic medicine, or visual protocols for patient care.

All submissions must be freely and easily accessible online, with no paywalls or commercial intent. Paid courses, books, or research studies will not be included.

The deadline to submit information is the 15th of September.

Our President, Vincent Bower, here chatting about a great day at the Naturally Good expo in Darling Harbour, Sydney! So many fantastic exhibits.
"A real highlight was discovering Highlands Natural, a new NSW Southern Highlands business. Their organic bovine multi-organ capsules are a game-changer for clients who struggle with organ meats – and the rep I met shared her incredible personal story of how beneficial they've been in her cancer recovery. 🙏
Also caught up with some of the Osborne team. But the absolute top moment was meeting Paul Seitz from the "Other CMA" – Complementary Medicines Australia! We had a good laugh about how often we refer callers to each other". 😄

In cooperation with Integria, and OneCam, we presented proposals in 2022-2023 to lift the ban on Wild Cherry Bark. The TGA had restricted the herb due to its amygdalin content. Although it wasn’t released in time for this year’s cold and flu season, The TGA has confirmed its release for 2026 with dosage restrictions.
We acknowledge our Vice President, Greg Fredericks, who took a lead role in lobbying for this change on behalf of both the CMA and OneCam. His leadership and our collective advocacy made this positive outcome possible.

🌿 Great News! The CMA is excited that Naturopathy and Western Herbal Medicine have been approved by the Federal Health Minister for reinstatement for private health insurance rebates. For many years, the CMA has been actively advocating, collaborating and submitting evidence on the Natural Therapies Review Expert Advisory Panel (NTREAP) towards this outcome.
