Why Don't Earthbound Spirit Cross Over?
There are many reasons a spirit might remain earthbound:
*Sudden or traumatic death: Shock can leave a spirit in a dazed, confused state.
*Unawareness of death: Some spirits genuinely do not realise they’ve passed on, especially if they died under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or anaesthesia.
*Fear of judgment: Those who behaved badly in life may fear consequences on “the other side.”
*Unfinished business: They may have something left unsaid or undone.
*Emotional attachments: A strong love or sense of duty—such as a mother dying in childbirth—can keep a spirit close to a living child or loved one.
*Addictions: Spirits with unresolved addictions (to drugs, s*x, gambling, alcohol) may attach to the living in order to continue experiencing those urges through others’ energy fields.
*Guilt or denial: Feelings of shame or a refusal to accept death can block a soul’s journey into the afterlife.
*Avoidance of the light: Some spirits simply resist the transition, clinging to familiar routines, places, and emotions.
