Q1 Stair Climb this Sunday!!!

With his support worker Amanda in front and his trusty physio behind (to catch!), Shane is taking on the challenge of being the first below knee amputee to complete the 1331 steps and 77 floors to make it to the top of the Q1.

We started training 6 months ago when he couldn’t fit into his prosthetic leg because he and his limb were both out of shape!

Shane set himself the challenge of climbing the Q1 - and now we give it a crack on Sunday.

If you want to support Shane - he is raising money for Kirrawee Indigenous Youth Support - basically a big brother group for young men who maybe don’t have great role models. What a champion!

I’ll keep you posted as to how we go!!!! Just have to put together my final play list now to dance our way to the top! Feel free to add suggestions below - he likes AC/DC Oz Rock, 80s. So far I’ve got….
Thunderstruck, Can’t touch this, Rocky theme song, eye of the tiger, another one bites the dust …… will need about 20 songs I think to get us through.
