🥰🥰 Warming foods 🥰🥰
Now that the temperature has dropped and sticking around it’s time to change it up and start incorporating warming foods to support and aid in your digestion
When I say warming foods, think just that…cooked warm foods instead of raw cold foods…
Swapping your morning smoothies for warm porridge or cooked eggs in the morning (even better a congee)
Swapping your sandwiches and salads at lunch for warm cooked left overs or soups
Dinners start to utilize slow cooker meals, curries, stir fry’s, soups, broths, Dahl etc
The affects of changing to warming foods during the colder seasons is that it supports the spleen and stomach (our main yin digestive organs). When they work efficiently it’s create less dampness in the system, allowing for the digestion to move and clear daily!
