If you don’t overthink it, it’s simple….

Know what’s important to you.

Don’t try to please everyone
or be perfect.

Just start by being more yourself.

Listen to your body.
Trust your intuition.
Let yourself have fun along the way.

You’re not here to be perfect,
you’re here to be you.

And you are already enough.

So live your life in a way that feels good to you, wake up and see the good already in your life

And if you want something go for it, everyone fails, don’t be afraid for it, take the lesson and keep moving forward.

You got this lovely! 💛

Why this works 💛

If you check your phone first thing in the morning,
you’re starting your day in reaction mode,
responding to everything around you
instead of choosing how you want to feel.

When you take a couple of minutes to pause and visualise your day,
you’re creating that feeling first
calm, present, grounded.

Your brain responds to what you repeatedly show it.
The more you practise this, the more natural it becomes.

Think of your mind like a piggy bank…
are you adding small moments of calm, or constant stress?

This is a simple but powerful form of self-care,
showing up for yourself in a way your future self will thank you for.

And the same applies with your children.

Morning, after school, and before bed
are the moments they need your presence most.

Even 10 minutes of your full attention, no distractions,
can make a big difference to them and you 💛.

If I could speak to myself 10 years ago…

I’d say:
worry less
stop overthinking
and enjoy it more 🤍

I used to put so much pressure on myself to have everything figured out…
always thinking, always “on”.

But life feels very different when you allow yourself to let go a little.

To laugh more.
To have fun.
To not take everything so seriously.

You’re allowed to enjoy your life while you’re building it.

Save this as your reminder.

This is a call from the part of you you’ve been ignoring…

The part of you that wants to say no
but feels pressure to say yes.

When this becomes a pattern, it slowly pulls you out of alignment.

You end up agreeing to things you don’t really want to do…
and over time, that can affect how you feel about yourself.

Because on a deeper level, you’re telling yourself:
everyone else’s needs matter more than mine.

If saying no feels hard, try this instead:

“Can I come back to you? I just need to check a few things.”

This gives you space to pause, breathe,
and actually check in with yourself.

Then you can respond later with something simple like:
“I’ve had a think and it’s not the right time for me”
or
“I’ve got a few other commitments at the moment”

You don’t need to over-explain.
You’re allowed to honour what feels right for you.

Save this for the moments you feel that pressure to say yes 💛

Do you replay conversations in your head…
thinking about how you came across,
wishing you’d said something differently…
or not said something at all?

You’re not alone.

So many high-functioning women do this.

They analyse, overthink, and quietly question themselves…
sometimes feeling embarrassed or disappointed afterwards.

But the truth is, this pattern can be really draining.

It keeps you stuck in your head
and often in a lower, more critical state of mind.

And from that place, it’s harder to see the good…
the growth…
or even that the other person likely hasn’t thought about it twice.

This is your reminder 🤍

Your voice matters, trust yourself.
Your thoughts matter.
You don’t need to get everything “perfect” to be worthy or respected.

If something didn’t go the way you hoped,
take what you can from it… and gently let it go.

Because over-analysing it doesn’t protect you,
it just drains your energy and carries into the next moment.

You’re allowed to move forward with trust in yourself.

If this resonates, I share simple ways to calm an overactive mind inside my WhatsApp space, you’re so welcome to join 💛 Just message me CALM.

“I’ll just do one more thing…”

So many high-functioning women fall into this pattern.

Your brain is always trying to keep you safe and in control, so there may have been a time this was helpful, keep cleaning the house, keep working, keep doing things for other people.
but when this runs on autopilot, you don’t stop to check if it’s actually helping you now. If you’re feeling drained or like you have lost yourself, there’s a good chance it’s no longer helping.

“Just one more thing”
turns into feeling frustrated and feeling mentally overloaded.

You know you want time for yourself…
or to be present with the people you love…
but that pull to keep going is still there.

The truth is…
you show up at your best when you feel calm, clear, and supported.

Not when you’re constantly pushing through and ignoring that part of you telling you to stop.

The shift starts with awareness.

In that moment, where you feel the urge to keep going
you can pause
and choose differently.
