Today, we celebrate and honor the incredible love, strength, and heart of all mothers — in every form that motherhood takes.
To the mothers holding their children close and those holding them only in memory…
To the mothers parenting through silence, distance, or loss…
To the women who dreamed of motherhood but never held that dream in their arms…
To the grandmothers, godmothers, stepmothers, and mother-figures whose love has shaped lives…
To those who mother others through compassion, care, and presence, regardless of biology.

It is also important today to recognise those children who have lost their mothers or have difficult relationships with their mothers, for many reasons and will not have contact. I hope you find peace and comfort with close friends, your beautiful pets or significant others today.
