It’s 3am , your brain is in overdrive . “ I’m not good enough “ , I’m useless , I’m a bad person “ “Why am I here ? “. STOP .
Those are just thoughts , where is the evidence ? It’s just your anxiety and depression talking and it’s lying to you ! Don’t believe it . Observe those thoughts , don’t give them power , let them move on . You are more than your thoughts . You do not have to act on them .
This too will pass . ☺️🦋

The medical evidence is clear: Attorneys-General must to 14 years old as a bare minimum. Children as young as 10 years old can be locked away in prison. 12 year olds are still in primary school, and 13 year olds are just starting high school. No child belongs behind bars. Add your voice...

Anger is a secondary emotion. Underneath its fiery cover is emotional pain , frustration and fear . Anger is necessary to save us from danger and motivate us to action , but what about anger that isn’t purposeful or useful ? What about the anger that eats at your soul and erodes your energy and life force ? That anger that simmers away in the background of our everyday interactions , that sees us bark and snap and lose it at people we love ? That’s toxic . Finding ways to release that anger , set it free , and find peace in our soul , now wouldn’t that be something?

Growing one of these, came with lots of challenges ! Lol . I made some mistakes that I’m not proud of , even counsellor mums stuff up ! We had our clashes and our ups and downs but I knew that despite my mistakes she still saw me as a good enough mum and loved me . I asked her one day if she believed she’d had a good childhood. She thought for a bit , the silence had me a little worried . She then replied , Yeah .. but we had too many sausages Mum “. Phew 😮‍💨
We can’t be perfect parents but we can always learn , grow and change what’s not working . Sometimes we just get in our own way . If you want counselling for yourself or your teen, contact me . We can do this together 🙏😊💖
