We're over halfway through NAIDOC week and it's been interesting learning more about First Nations culture.

Did you know our co-located psychiatrist, Leon, spent time being mentored by Aboriginal Elders in Central Australia? He brought back these special art works on display in our clinic rooms in Yugambeh (Robina).

🏄 Love surfing? (the net)

The internet has changed almost every aspect of our lives. Like, did you know you can do speech therapy online?*

Yup! Teletherapy is pretty hot right now. It's been around for years but since 2020 it's exploded in popularity, especially since teleconferencing platforms have become so darn slick.

Some speech therapists don't even see people face-to-face anymore! They make waves from the comfort of their own home through online speech therapy.

Worried your loved one might be too young, too old, or too fidgety for teletherapy? The best way to discover if it's a right fit for you is to trial a session.

Even the youngest of children can be supported online if their parents are open to a flexible coaching model. The therapist will walk you through exactly how to do this and guide every step of the way.

So a bit like the beach - no shirt, no shoes, no problem! (Actually... if you could wear a shirt that would be great, thanks 😂)
