Bond University Surgical Society (BUSS) is an educational society that seeks to create and inspire new surgical leaders of the future through fostering and enriching the education and social environment of students enrolled in the Medical degree at Bond University through surgical teaching and experience. BUSS aims to safeguard and advance the interests of medical students as well as promoting and

fostering the interests of the Medical School and Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine at Bond. In 2022, BUSS hopes to broaden its influence and community involvement through public lectures by local surgeons, surgical experience workshop days and mentor programs with local surgeons. Our members include those with a burning passion to pursue a career in surgery to those wishing to broaden their educational mind. With constant advances in surgical technology and procedures, BUSS aims to keep its members informed on latest research, evidence based practice and developments within the surgical training pathway. BUSS aims to safeguard and advance the interests of medical students as well as promoting and fostering the interests of the Medical School and Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine at Bond. In 2020, BUSS, hopes to broaden its influence and community involvement through public lectures by local surgeons, surgical experience workshop days and mentor programs with local surgeons.
