Skandasana invites the body into grounded mobility. As one knee bends deeply and the other leg extends long, the body learns how to move through transition with steadiness and control. Weight shifts slowly, breath stays present, and strength is built without urgency.

Physically, this pose strengthens the legs and glutes while opening the inner thighs and hamstrings. It supports ankle stability, hip mobility and core engagement, helping the body feel both strong and adaptable.
