Here is a great initiative by St John Ambulance putting a lock box on your home and giving St. John’s the code so they have access if needed.
🚑Ensuring Safety and Peace of Mind for Goomalling Residents🚑
Over the past few years, Goomalling has seen a rise in its aging population, an increase in residents living with disabilities, and more community members living alone. This has sometimes led to situations where emergency medical assistance is delayed because the patient is unable to unlock their door. This can cause significant distress for the patient, who knows help is outside but cannot let them in.
In an emergency, every second counts.
By registering your property access codes (like building entry codes, key safe, or lockbox information), you can help paramedics reach you faster when you need help. This simple step ensures that if you cannot open the door yourself—like if you've had a fall—we can still get to you quickly and safely.
