This patient of ours had a bilateral mastectomy for .

Dr Aggarwal performed a using a DIEP flap from her abdomen. This was transplanted to the chest.

The patient now has a permanent reconstruction that will grow with her, with a reconstruction that is soft much like a native breast.

This patient of ours had a bilateral mastectomy when she was diagnosed with a left sided .

She had some tissue (though not much!) in her abdomen that could be harvested as to reconstruct both breasts.

Unexpectedly she required post-mastectomy radiation on the left side after reconstruction, but this early result post radiation shows her shape and reconstruction is doing very well. Especially in clothing we have been able to restore (or maintain) a sense of normality for her.

She will ultimately go on to have a tattoo based 3D ni**le reconstruction. Thank you to our patient for allowing us to share these wonderful results!
