There truly is a squat variation for everyone. Squats are one of the most important movements we can train—they build lower-body strength, support joint health, and help us maintain independence as we move through life 💪🏼

How to Squat – Variations & What They Target 👇🏼

• Pendulum Squat – Great for building the quads while keeping the torso upright. The fixed path reduces load on the lower back and helps you focus on leg drive and control.

• Hack Squat – Primarily targets the quads, with support from the glutes. Ideal if you want to load the legs heavily without worrying about balance.

• Box Squat – Excellent for glute strength and control. Encourages proper depth, teaches hip engagement, and is fantastic for beginners or those rebuilding strength.

• Barbell Squat – A full lower-body compound movement targeting quads, glutes, hamstrings, and core. Builds total-body strength and carries over to everyday movement.

I've been MIA on the socials, but in my defence, I'm still enjoying my baby bubble 🙈

So here's us now, growing my muscles with my baby who is in the 95th percentile in weight for his age 😂
6 months postpartum & pretty much back to my 'normal' training, every exercise feels hard but I'm here for it 💪🏽 doing hard s**t is what changes the body & mind 🙌🏼

I'm also back in the gym taking on clients a few days a week & holding some discounted sessions at home while I've got my little man, so if you're interested in some training or have a little bub yourself & want to train, hit me up 📲✨️
