9 reasons to practice Bikram yoga ( HOT 26) in a hot room
โ Muscles, fascia and connective tissue become more elastic allowing for greater flexibility with less chance of injury
โก Warm muscles burn fat more effectively. When we stretch, the fat has no room to sit so it redistributes to the blood stream which we then use as energy
โข Blood becomes thinner which clears the circulatory system
When the body is warm, T-cell output from the thymus gland is multiplied 20 fold. T-cells fight infection which in turn keeps the immune system functioning properly
โฃ Warmer temperatures produce a fluid like stretch that allows for greater range of motion in the joints
โค Heart rate becomes elevated which improves the cardiovascular system (heart and lungs)

Lets Talk ๐ด๐พ๐ ๐ดโดโ๐ถ ๐
A แทแดแฉแTIแดแแช, แซแIแดT practice, and is suitable for all levels of students in a non-heated room.
๐ด๐พ๐ ๐ดโดโ๐ is a slow-paced, therapeutic style of yoga. ๐ด๐พ๐ postures are more passive postures, mainly done on the floor either seated or lying down. There are no sun salutations, no planks, no warriors, no jump throughs! There is in fact no dynamic movement and usually no standing poses at all.
๐ด๐พ๐ ๐ดโดโ๐ถ is unique in that you are asked to relax into the posture, allowing the body to soften and release naturally without pushing or straining. It is not uncommon for postures to be held for three to five minutes, even 10 minutes at a time. The time spent in these postures is much like time spent in meditation, as the mind shifts from yang to yin, or from active to passive.
The key to practicing ๐ด๐พ๐ ๐ดโดโ๐ถ is finding stillness in each position. The goal is to access the deeper tissues of the body, such as connective tissue and fascia, and many of the postures focus on areas that encompass a joint such as the hips, sacrum, spine.
The term โyin yogaโ comes from the Taoist tradition. While yang relates to movement and creating heat in the body. Yin is about finding stillness and cooling the body. We need both the yin and the yang to find balance and stay in optimal health throughout every stage of our lifespan.

Why did you spill the coffee?

Let's talk about Triangle Pose ( Trikonasana)
Trikonasana for Everybody/EVERYBODY'S BODY ๐ง๐พโโ๏ธ
It is a standing asana that mainly increases the flexibility and strength of the legs and side waist. Unlike most of the Yoga Asanas, this asana is done with open eyes ๐
In this Yoga Asana, our body looks like a triangle or Trikona, this is the reason why we call it Triangle Pose or Trikonasana.
Triangle Pose mainly strengthens the muscle of the waist, core, hamstrings, thighs, knees, and ankles. It is a good way to open the muscles of the hips, hamstrings, and spine.
So basically it is overall a great stretching posture that provides excellent flexibility to the body with added benefits ๐๐
What is Jivamukti Yoga ?
Jivamukti yoga is a modern hybrid style of yoga that was created and branded by artist David Life and musician/dancer Sharon Gannon.
The name comes from the Sanskrit jiva (individual living soul) and mukti (the freeing from the eternal cycle of death and rebirth). Therefore, the full name implies liberation while still living on Earth.
The five basic principles of Jivamukti yoga are:
Meditation (dhyana)
Music (nada)
Non-violence (ahimsa)
Devotion (bhakti)
Scripture (shastra)
It is a highly physical and vigorous style of yoga that takes its basic moves from traditional Hatha yoga.

Anahata: The Heart Chakra
This weekโs yoga is based on the Heart. When creating the sequence I enjoy researching both the philosophy and the physical aspect of a yoga theme. When I came across the following description of Anahata, I thought it would be good to dwell in the inexhaustible treasures of love.โ
