Our doctors collaborate to provide comprehensive pregnancy, gynaecological, fertility, fetal medicine & ultrasound services in a warm & supportive environment. This page is managed 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Bittersweet feelings this week, a year on from the closure of the Maternity Unit at , BUT we scored their best employee out of it! 😉☺️

Karyn is a fan favourite at Intuition, who brings equal parts professionalism and fun and enthusiasm to everything she does!

We’re delighted to welcome Maryam Saadeldeen to the Intuition Private team 🤍

Maryam is an experienced obstetric and gynaecological sonographer with a strong background in fetal medicine, bringing an exceptional depth of knowledge and international training to our patients on the Central Coast.

Maryam has spent several years working within the Fetal Medicine Department at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney and holds postgraduate qualifications in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound from Australian universities.

Patients describe Maryam as warm, thorough and easy to talk to. She’s known for her clear explanations, gentle manner and unwavering commitment to providing safe, high-quality ultrasound care for women and their families.

We're very excited to welcome two new members of the team to Intuition Private!

Sue (left) has experience in medical reception, but comes to us from the childcare industry, which is a great skill set for our clinic, now that we have three paediatricians on board! Sue will be working three days a week.

Renee (right) is actually our marketing guru, but was happy to "train up" to be our floating receptionist when we're Short By One at late notice! She's now convinced every marketing person should spend at least a week on reception!

Yes, at home.

These visits can be used any time from when you arrive home from hospital up until your six week postnatal check. That means more support in your own space, more continuity, and less time travelling when you’re tired, recovering, or adjusting to life with a newborn.

If you’re already a patient, ask us how you can also take advantage of this.

Why does this matter? Because the early postnatal weeks are tender and overwhelming. Because packing up a newborn, getting in the car and sitting in a waiting room isn’t always ideal.

These appointments are designed to provide:

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛

And if you’ve ever been told that your period pain is “just part of being a woman”… this is your reminder that it’s not.

Endometriosis is a chronic condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus. It can cause severe period pain, pelvic pain, pain during in*******se, heavy bleeding, fatigue, bowel symptoms and, for some women, fertility challenges.

It affects 1 in 9 Australian women. That’s not rare. That’s common. And yet so many women wait years for a diagnosis.
