This is a great example of a Funnel Web Spider showing the 'spur' on its second leg. This specimen has just been dropped off with us at our Gosford training room in Glennie Street. It will be heading up the Reptile Park today.
Notice it's in a secured glass jar with a moistened cotton ball to keep it hydrated.

Statewide training for NSW Sport and Rec continues today at Borambola near Wagga and also at Point Wolstoncroft Lake Macquarie. Vital First Aid has been entrusted to train Sport and Rec staff throughout the state now for several years.
