John Crooks JP MAIE (Melb) MBIE AFDA FDA (NSW) Managing Director John Crooks is a second generation funeral director. With over 30 years experience, John understands all facets of the funeral industry. A Board member of the Australian Institute of Embalming and a member of the British Institute of Embalmers, the Australian Funeral Directors Association and the Funeral Directors Association (NSW), John ensures that R J Sidney Craig is at the forefront of industry best practice and professionalism. A qualified embalmer since 1991, John holds the latest qualifications in embalming (Certificate IV). John is also a current member of an international disaster identification team which is deployed on assignment. He is also a leading expert from which the media seek advice. Belinda Crooks Director Co-owner of R J Sidney Craig Funeral Directors, Belinda Crooks is head of R J Sidney Craig’s women’s division. From a young age, Belinda understood the grief faced by families and the compassion they require after losing a loved one as her father managed the Goulburn City Council Cemetery for many years. Belinda understands that many women are more comfortable talking about funeral arrangements with other women and ensures that the R J Sidney Craig women’s division provides thoughtful and professional funeral service. At the helm of an Australian-owned family business with her business partner John Crooks, Belinda says that R J Sidney Craig treats clients as if they were their own family members needing support and understanding at a time of need. Belinda’s other responsibilities include company secretary and managing the finance portfolio within the business Belinda and John Crooks are married with four children and enjoy living in Goulburn, New South Wales.
