COOKING WITH CLUB TRUST 👨🏼‍🍳

Yesterday our Club Trust program, had a wonderful time cooking up a tasty casserole for lunch, followed by a delicious chocolate pudding for dessert! 🥘

Everyone got involved – chopping, mixing, stirring, and of course enjoying the tasty results together. 💛 It was a great way to share skills, teamwork, and plenty of smiles around the table.

We love seeing the joy that cooking brings to our group – especially when it ends with chocolate pudding! 😋

Check out this free workshop for Building Inclusion at School on the 15th of August @ Mercure Goulburn, 2 Lockyer St Goulburn.

This workshop is for families of children living with a disability in or approaching the school years, and will cover:
- Inclusive Education: what it is and how will I know when it's real?
- Adjustments: reasonable and practical classroom strategies.
- Communication, collaboration and planning: building a good school relationship.
- Meetings: skills and strategies to advocate effectively.
- Education and beyond: what do we want from our child's schooling?
- How the school years can lead to a meaningful life.

124 Auburn Street Goulburn, Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. We only accept card Thursday and Friday but any other day cash is accepted. ☺️

This week Club Trust started off NAIDOC Week learning all about Aboriginal culture. They watched a Dreamtime story called ‘The Rainbow Serpent’ then created some Aboriginal art works. Andrew was very excited to tell his friends about his culture. In the afternoon they finished the day off reading the story ‘Finding our Heart’ by Thomas Mayo. 🖤❤️💛

A NIGHT FULL OF FUN 🪩🕺

Many of the participants from The Disability Trust had an incredible evening at the PCYC Additional Needs Bluelight Disco last Friday!
