A significant acknowledgement to Councillor Jason Shepherd for volunteering today and assisting with the manual sorting of Goulburn Mulwaree recycling materials alongside his son and our team. The initiative commenced at 6am. We aim to process a week's worth of co-mingled materials within 2 1/2 days, and the additional assistance has alleviated some of the workload, instilling confidence that we will clear the shed before next week. The experience was enjoyable.

Endeavour Industries Goulburn Inc was established in 1968 by Frank Chattaway who at the time was Principle of Goulburn High School. Frank wanted to assist those in the community who needed support; he called a public meeting to gauge the interest within the community if such a project could be established – and the response was outstanding.
An intense fundraising programme was administered – Frank spoke to service organisations in the district and visited schools to spread the word about what was intended, its benefits to the community and the further steps to take to bring Endeavour Industries into action.
Frank was awarded an O.A.M in 1982 for his services to people with disabilities and community organisation.
