THE ARIES NEW MOON APRIL 17th.
A COSMIC RESET OF FIRE, TRUTH, HEALING AND DESTINY.
This is not just a New Moon. This is one of the most powerful energetic gateways we have stepped into in years.
We are standing inside a rare Aries super stellium with the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, Chiron and Eris all gathered in the first sign of the zodiac. Eight celestial bodies concentrated in one place is not normal astrology. This is initiation energy at a level that arrives rarely in any lifetime and it is here to move things forward whether you feel ready or not.
Aries is the beginning. It is birth. It is instinct. It is the moment something chooses to exist. And with this much force here, the message is very clear. We are no longer in the season of maybe. We are in the season of action.
There are no planets in retrograde. Nothing is pulling you backwards. Nothing is asking you to revisit or reconsider. This is pure forward motion. What begins now carries momentum.
But this New Moon does not arrive in isolation. The day before matters deeply.
On April 16 the Sun meets Chiron in Aries. The light meets the wound. This is where something becomes visible that you have been carrying quietly beneath the surface for years. This is the wound around identity, around being seen, around trusting your own instinct and voice. Where you learned to shrink. Where you held yourself back. Where you questioned if you were too much or not enough.
Chiron has been working through Aries since 2019. This has not been surface level work. It has been reshaping how you show up in the world, how you take up space, how you act on what you know is true for you. When the Sun illuminates Chiron there is a moment of recognition. Not everything is resolved, but something becomes undeniably clear. A pattern, a truth, a knowing that you can no longer ignore.
This matters because what you begin under this New Moon is shaped by what you were willing to see within yourself first. This beginning does not come from illusion. It comes from honesty.
Then we arrive at April 17. The New Moon in Aries at 27 degrees. This is the first true ignition point of the year. The seed is planted but this is not a passive seed. This is fire. This is movement. This is a beginning that demands participation.
This New Moon is tightly conjunct Chiron and Eris which takes this far beyond a simple new beginning. Chiron brings the wound but also the medicine. Eris brings disruption but only to reveal where things have been false, suppressed or unspoken. Eris has been in Aries since 1925 and carries the energy of exposing what has been ignored, especially around exclusion, being overlooked, or silencing yourself to belong.
Together they create a powerful dynamic. You are being shown where you have kept the peace at the cost of your truth. Where you have softened yourself to be accepted. Where you have avoided conflict but in doing so abandoned yourself. This New Moon is not asking you to continue that pattern. It is asking you to break it.
You may feel this as a sudden need to speak. A boundary rising that you can no longer ignore. A realisation that something or someone no longer fits. A deep instinct telling you it is time to move. This is not impulsivity. This is alignment correcting itself.
At the same time, there is complexity within this fire. Mars, the ruler of Aries, is at home in this sign but it is not acting alone. It is moving alongside Mercury, Saturn and Neptune. This changes everything.
