Gracemere Family Practice will be closed from Good Friday through to Monday, reopening Tuesday at 8:00am.

Appointments can be made anytime online via HotDoc.

For after-hours care, please contact our deputising service Hello Home Doctor on 134 100.

If you require urgent medical attention, please attend your nearest Urgent Care Clinic or Emergency Department, or call 000 in an emergency.

💙 A Heartfelt Thank You to Rose & Carl 💙

It is with very full hearts that we share that Rose and Carl will be leaving Gracemere Family Practice in the coming weeks as they prepare for their next adventure.

There are no words that truly capture the impact these two incredible humans have had on our practice. Rose and Carl have been absolutely pivotal to who we are — supporting countless patients with compassion, kindness, and care, and providing unwavering support to our doctors and team every single day. They are the kind of people who make a workplace feel like a family, and a practice feel safe, warm, and genuinely caring.

They are simply irreplaceable, and they will be missed more than we can say.

We know many of our patients will want the opportunity to say goodbye. Thankfully, Rose and Carl are still with us for a little while longer, and we warmly invite you to drop by over the coming weeks to share your well-wishes and farewell them properly.

As one chapter closes, another begins — and while no one could ever replace Rose and Carl, we will soon be welcoming a new face to our team. We’ll share more on that very soon, so stay tuned.

2025 was a big year for us — and one shaped by listening to you. All of our doctors now bulk bill attendance appointments, we’ve grown our team to better support you, and we continue to look for ways to improve the care and services we offer.

As we ring in 2026 with spectacular fireworks at 7.30pm and midnight, let’s not forget our furry companions who may find the celebrations a little overwhelming.

Here’s how to keep your pets calm and safe:
✅ Keep them indoors in a quiet, or in a secure space within your property
✅ Take the time to inspect your fences, gates, doors and windows
✅ Close windows and curtains to muffle noise and block flashes
✅ Make sure they’re microchipped and wearing ID tags, just in case
✅ Stay close and offer comfort if they’re anxious

Fireworks are fun for us, but they can be frightening for pets.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours. As we wrap up another incredible year, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing community for your trust, support, and kindness. It is an honour to care for you and to be part of this little place we call home.

We also want to acknowledge that Christmas is not always an easy or joyful time for everyone. For those who may be finding this season difficult, please know we see you, we care, and you are never alone.

We celebrate our team, the year that was, and the strength we share as a community. We are excited for what 2026 will bring, and we look forward to continuing to support you in the New Year.

A big congratulations to Dr Bomi and Dr Siva on achieving their Fellowship with the RACGP! 🎉

This is such an incredible milestone and a true reflection of the years of hard work, study, dedication, and commitment they’ve put into their careers. Anyone who knows these two knows how much heart they put into their patients, their profession, and our community.

We are so lucky to have them as part of the Gracemere Family Practice team. Their care, compassion, and willingness to always go the extra mile is something our whole community benefits from every single day.

Today we get to celebrate them — their achievement, their journey, and all the hard work that led to this moment. A huge thank you to Dr Indu and Dr Brighton for the support and guidance they’ve offered along the way, and to our amazing GFP team — the doctors would be lost without you all.

And of course, the biggest thank you goes to our patients for your unwavering support, trust, and understanding.
