Sometimes the best thing we can do for ourselves is step away and spend time doing what we love.

This week it’s been about simple pauses – lunch by the river, fresh air, tending to the plants (thanks Tyson), and mindful moments that reset the soul.

Today, Lilly (our workplace student) and I picked up some paintbrushes and let creativity flow. It was the perfect way to breathe, recharge, and reflect on the positives.

Slowing down isn’t a setback – it’s how we care for ourselves, spark fresh ideas, and move forward with renewed energy. ✨💛

A client of mine is currently looking for experienced MALE Independent Support Workers to join their small team in Grafton, NSW.

🕒 Shifts include:

Mornings

Afternoons

Weekends

Fill-in shifts as needed

Requirements:

✔ Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
✔ NDIS Worker Screening Check
✔ Valid Driver’s Licence & fully insured vehicle
✔ ABN and NDIS-compliant business insurances (public liability & professional indemnity)
✔ Reliable, flexible, and a great communicator
✔ Must be good with children and dogs 🐶

Only independent support workers who meet NDIS business compliance standards will be considered.

Today, the amazing team at Food Care Grafton showed incredible generosity by donating a large array of essential groceries and household items to Your Choice Support Services Clarence Valley (YCSSCV). These items will be distributed to families and individuals in our community who are doing it tough.
At YCSSCV, we believe in the importance of providing basic care essentials to help improve health, wellbeing, and quality of life. These donations will go directly to our current and future participants who may be struggling with the everyday cost of living, helping make life a little more bearable during difficult times.
A huge thank you to Food Care Grafton for your ongoing support and for offering groceries and household goods at low cost to the community. Your kindness and commitment are deeply appreciated. 💙
