Tiny Paws, Big Healing: A Kitten's Journey with Our Herbal Balms
A few weeks ago, one of the tiniest souls I’ve ever cared for came into the world—born right in our own home. Just three days old, this newborn kitten was already facing a serious challenge: a large, raw wound on the back of his neck. Despite being so small, he showed incredible strength from the very beginning.
The vet did what they could and advised us to keep the area moist and use a numbing cream to reduce discomfort. But as the days passed, it was clear that the wound wasn’t improving the way it should. That’s when I decided to trust in the remedies I’ve poured my heart into.
I began gently cleansing the area with a soothing aloe and tea tree spray, then applied a numbing cream to keep him comfortable. From there, I alternated two of our most healing balms—Holy Shingles and Comfrey Balm—both of which were crafted to calm inflammation, support tissue repair, and prevent infection.
Each day brought visible signs of healing. The skin stayed moist and clean, the kitten stayed calm and continued feeding well, and within 2–3 weeks, the wound had healed beautifully. No infection. No scarring. Just healthy, pink skin where the damage had been.
Watching this tiny creature heal so gently and completely reminded me why I do this. Our balms are more than products—they’re love and care in a jar. And whether it’s for a soldier’s sore back, a mother’s healing body, or a newborn kitten with a fragile neck, I’m continually humbled by the way nature helps us mend.
With love,
Daleth
