Most cancers are found when someone notices a change in their body and sees their GP about it.

That’s why it’s important to know the common cancer symptoms to look out for. These include:

🟦 unexplained weight loss
🟦 fatigue or tiredness
🟦 pain
🟦 fever
🟦 a new lump or swelling

Your GP is the best person to see about symptoms. Don't be embarrassed to ask, cancers found early can be easier to treat.

New medical service announced for the Iluka community! 🩺🎉

Congratulations to Dr Anthony Anachuna and Stella Anachuna on turning their vision into reality with the opening of a new medical practice in Iluka.

This much-needed service will bring essential healthcare access to a community that has been without a local medical facility for almost 3 years. Dr Anachuna and his wife, who currently run O Plus Health Medical Clinic in Grafton are excited to deliver the practice to new and existing patients, some who currently travel to Grafton to receive care.

The practice will provide patients with access to a doctor and nurse, with plans to expand services in response to community needs. Future offerings may include allied health professionals such as a cardiologist, physiotherapist, dietitian, and pathology services, all contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

You're invited to a community Meet and Greet with Dr Anachuna:

📅 Saturday 2 August
🕛 12:00 – 2:00 pm
📍 Iluka Bowls Club

Enjoy food and refreshments, proudly supported by Healthy North Coast and the wonderful Iluka Bowls Club ladies.

We look forward to seeing you there!
