Today at E-Motion Physio Lab, we explored the Exopulse Mollii Suit as part of a structured assessment of movement, balance, and functional mobility.

This full-body electrical stimulation garment is designed to support muscle activation and may assist some individuals experiencing muscle tightness, pain or movement difficulties.

We combine innovative technology with standardised assessments to understand how each person responds in real time.

✨ New at E-Motion Physio Lab: Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training ✨

At E-Motion Physio Lab, we continue to invest in evidence-informed tools to support individualised rehabilitation.

Blood Flow Restriction training allows selected patients to exercise at lower loads, while still targeting strength and muscle adaptation.

We use validated equipment from VALD Performance to support:

• post-injury rehabilitation
• post-surgical recovery
• return-to-function programs
• patients who cannot tolerate high loads

🔹 Individually assessed and supervised
🔹 Integrated into personalised physiotherapy programs
🔹 Used when clinically indicated

At E-Motion Physio Lab, all BFR sessions are delivered by a registered physiotherapist following a thorough assessment to ensure safety and suitability.

I’m excited to share that we are building a partnership with UNIJUÍ / Postgraduation AIS research group, led by Prof. Dr. Eliane Roseli Winkelmann. Together, we are developing international research focused on digital rehabilitation, health technology, and inclusive, evidence-based care.

Together, we are developing an international research collaboration focused on:
🔹 digital and remote rehabilitation
🔹 innovation and health technology
🔹 physiotherapy in cardiac, neurological and ageing population
🔹 new models of inclusive, accessible, and evidence-based rehabilitation

This partnership represents a dream taking shape, connecting academic excellence with real-world clinical innovation to create meaningful impact in people’s lives.

🌟 💚 A Week of Growth, Connection and Inspiration for E-Motion Physio Lab! 🌿 🌟

This week has been truly special. I had the privilege of returning to the university where I graduated (UNIJUI), a place that shaped my journey as a physiotherapist and ignited my passion for research and innovation. Reconnecting with respected professors, mentors, and colleagues who played such an important role in my professional life was incredibly meaningful.

I had the honour of serving as an external examiner for the Master’s project defence for Eduarda Schreiber, who delivered an excellent and highly relevant project defence.

Congratulations, Eduarda! Your work represents the future of cardiac rehabilitation, inclusive, modern, and patient-centred 🎓✨
