Equal Rights Campaigning
We campaign alongside people living with acute illness, ageing, disability and mental health population. For rights that most take for granted. These include access to services transport, freedom of mobility, and provision of better rehabilitation services. Working closely with animal and dog owners, service providers, other voluntary organisation and MPs, and have successfully influence policies and legislation.

Therapeutic Dog Services is a registered charity of South Australia, with Public Benevolent Institution and Deductible Gift Recipient status from the Australian Tax Office. It is income and fringe benefits tax exempt and all donations over $2 are tax deductible.
Therapeutic Dog Services operates on a corporate governance model, with a Chairman and a Board of Directors. Under our constitution no director may receive a fee or any financial reward (other than out of pocket expenses) for their role on the board.
Board of Directors
A Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing all corporate governance matters, providing the organisation with strategic leadership and direction, leads a senior management team responsible for the major financial and administrative decisions and is the principle decision making body.
