I help my patients reach their health and wellness goals by identifying and crowding out bad habits through finding and creating 'new and good' habits using evidence based nutritional medicine and herbs. I provide patient education of human biochemical processes, nutritional (diet diary) analysis, personalised wellbeing strategies and meal planning to not only make the most of the health you have but to improve it.

Oxidative stress linked to adrenal hormone imbalance can significantly impact health.

Hormonal dysregulation in adrenal glands, such as adrenal insufficiency and Cushing's syndrome, is associated with oxidative stress.

Oxidative stress damages lipids, proteins, and DNA, turns on inflammatory pathways, and causes cellular dysfunction, tissue damage, and organ impairment. Oxidative stress is linked to Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, cancer, and cardiovascular disease.

Nutritional antioxidants like vitamin C, E, carotenoids, selenium, zinc, polyphenols, coenzyme Q10, and probiotics can mitigate oxidative damage and support adrenal function. BUT you have to get them from food!

These antioxidants may provide therapeutic approaches to managing oxidative stress related to adrenal hormone disorders.

[NEW] GLP-1 Diet Plan

So, I'm sure you've heard of GLP-1s, or glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (ozempic for example). They are medications that help regulate blood sugar levels by increasing insulin release and slowing digestion.

Eating foods that support GLP-1s can reduce the chances of side effects and improve health outcomes. You focuses on increasing protein, maintaining healthy fats and fibre, and choosing whole, nutrient-dense, minimally processed foods.

I know the power of my study now...and I need about 50 more participants!!

As a Researcher at Monash University, I invite you to participate in a research study investigating the predictors of mental health in early parenthood. This study aims to investigate how relationship satisfaction, physical activity, social support, sleep quality, resilience, and parental self-efficacy can potentially influence mental health in parents with a baby under 12 months old.

To be eligible to participate, you must be over the age of 18 years, live in Australia, and have a baby that is less than 12 months old. The anonymous survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. If you’d like to participate, please click the secure link below:
