I needed to scratch ❤️Shelby❤️ from this weekends medium tests both days. Just part of having horses … Despite that disappointment, I’ve got plenty of time now to play with the new boys ❤️ I’m just loving 🤎Wizard🤎, he is starting to get used to my way of riding. Settling in and finding his forward nicely and I’m starting to be able to soften my hands and not micromanage his front end that desperately needed a serious contact. I just do light contact because that is just me. We are working each other out.
And 🩶Ripley🩶 ohhhh beautiful boy 🩶🩶 he was dropped off by his beautiful previous owners who loved and pampered him so very well. But he is 17hh of Irish Sport Horse that has had over 2 years of no work and previous to that he was just a big green boy, having done nothing at all really. He settled in last Sunday and I’ve given him some lunge days and lots of love which he just adores. Today I hopped on and I couldn’t be happier. He is forward moving which is very much a horse that I love riding, soft and light (despite desperately needing some shoes … lucky he is now living with a farrier 😉) albeit in need of top line so that he can pick himself up in front … but absolutely brilliant and I can’t wait to ride them all again tomorrow 🥰
I am so truely grateful to the powers that protect, guide and provide for me 🙏
I couldnt ask for better horses 🫶❤️
They are truely my sanity 🌟🫶🙏

Yesterday’s blissful day with the 3 boys. First
🧡Fame🧡 playing fancy pants stuff in the sandpit 🫶 .. Then 🤎Wizard🤎 and I getting our communications happening … then perfection ❤️Shelby❤️ playing with little bouncy steps … won’t be long and we just might be doing fancy stuff too. Every horse is healthy and happy 😍🥰 my life mission … happy animals ❤️❤️

❤️Shelby❤️ and I have watched intently and absorbed a lot from the reining clinic we attended this weekend. We weren’t doing the slides and rollbacks … but playing with some spins and a much better back up was achieved and more focus on foot control was put into practice. There is just so much to learn and so many more tools to put in our toolboxes. I’m a big believer in learning from the best in each of the disciplines and I’m very grateful for the knowledge and input … along with patience that Scott Burnett gave us all. Especially me!! as I really had to come up to speed quick with different terminology and wording … I got a lot out of it and will definitely go again. I cant recommend Burnett Performance Horses enough. Dressage, event and showjump riders can get so much from the best trainers in various western disciplines and Scott broke things down and related things to what I do in such a logical manner.
Thank you Hanna Calleja for having my ❤️Shelby❤️ sleep over at your place with your amazing boy chizzy ❤️ and thank you so much for letting me ride him to get a feel. Hanns Horse Transport … So grateful … So much fun. And a thank you to Georgia Bates for hosting the clinic and your hospitality and kindness.
I’m so very lucky to have my versatile Shelby 🫶
When we got home this evening he told Wizard that he has been hanging out with some very cool horses !!! They do pirouettes amazingly !! 🌟

A couple of days in the life of us … building fences, riding the boys together ❤️Shelby❤️ & 🧡Charlie🧡, teaching 🧡Fame🧡 about no bridle or reins riding … just a rope around the neck, building Trust with the beautiful 🌟Wizard🌟, swimming the dogs in the dams that actually have water in them .. John teaching Charlie how to bow and lay down, such a clever boy, the full moon 🌝 is watching over us and blessings are abundant 🙏
