Rei is the universal energy that flows through life.
Being the core energy of all life force energies, this energy possesses incredible power and has an immense ability to heal when harnessed.
Surprisingly this energy is very easy to tap into once you know how and is always eager to help.
Bottom symbol: "KI"
Ki energy is the individual energy of a being but is essentially connected to the whole, core energy life force (The "REI" that we spoke of previously)
Our Ki is very diverse & controls us not only on a spiritual level, but on a mental emotional & physical level also.
Over time some of the energy in our fields can become stagnant, channels can become blocked, from which can leave us feeling run down or closed off.
Whereas when our energy is flowing freely & easily we are energized and inspired to fulfill our potential.
So as you can see, the purpose of a Reiki healing is for the practitioner to directly channel life force energy (REI) into the receiver's energy field (KI) to rebalance, cleanse and revitalize one's energy field (:
We do this by connecting to rei & specific parts of your ki/energy field. This could be any of your chakras, parts of your aura or any emotional cords that may be attached to you.
