Part Time Assistant Manager

About us:
Situated in Geelong and set on 10 acres, is our ‘Residential and Tourist’ park. Compromising of 71 powered cabin and caravan/RV sites with en-suites, our lovely park set amongst Australian bushland, consists of a mixture of tourists and residents.

The role:

An opportunity exists for an energetic Assistant Manager to work alongside the Management and our friendly team. The position is permanent part-time (min 4 days per fortnight Thurs-Sun every second weekend). As you progress in this role you will also be required to stay overnight during these 4 days as well as cover the Managers holidays/leave. Weekend, school holiday and public holiday work is required within this role. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

· Office administration and data entry duties

· Customer service enquiries and bookings

· Maintain all office procedures and record keeping including owner
accounts

· Manage small shop facilities that form part of the reception area.

· Reporting to Management and Directors

· Cleaning duties

About you:

The successful applicant must be able to enjoy a busy and diverse role, with the ability to be organised. You will have a professional and positive ‘can do’ attitude. You must also possess:

· Previous administration and computer skills (Newbook or RMS
beneficial)

· Previous experience in hospitality is a plus

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent customer service skills

· Possess initiative and a strong work ethic

· Ability to make a positive contribution within a team environment

· Be able to work autonomously

The Geelong region offers some beautiful sunsets and fishing spots. This photo was taken Clifton Springs on the Bellarine Peninsula. 25km from the park. A beautiful place to take the kids for a swim, the dogs for a walk, (off lead during certain hours of the day) fish from the jetty or launch your boat.

UPDATE 12.50: Victoria has introduced a permit system for all people travelling from NSW into Victoria from midnight tonight. Anyone who has been in a hot spot will not be allowed into Victoria.

BENDIGO HEALTH AND DHHS SCREEN SYDNEY FLIGHTS

Bendigo Health and the Department of Health and Human Services have set up a COVID screening clinic for people on flights arriving from Sydney, in line with new state government rules.

It comes as Sydney's Northern Beaches cluster grows to 28 positive cases.

About 30 passengers arriving in Bendigo today will be asked if they've been in the exposure zones, if they're showing any signs or symptoms, and if they'd like to be tested.

Everyone who wants to get tested can, but people who've been in exposure zones will be required to get tested and self isolate.

No further flights will arrive over the weekend, but it's not yet clear whether flights will continue arriving from Sydney next week.

The Victorian Government has told Victorians not to travel to Sydney, and says it hasn't ruled out closing the NSW border again.
