Presented by Sueann Kenney-Noziska, MSW, LCSW, RPT-S, an internationally recognised expert in play therapy and trauma.
Additional presenters include:
• Dr Lorri Yasenik – Play therapy trainer, author, and internationally recognised child trauma specialist
• Helen Mocilnik – Lecturer at Deakin University and Director of Adelaide Hills Child and Family Therapy
• Angie Laussel – Play Therapist, Family Therapist, and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 30 years’ experience
Participants will gain insight into evidence-based interventions, current research, and practical tools to remain clinically sound and theoretically grounded when working with children and adolescents who have experienced sexual abuse.
Through the integration of literature, case studies, and experiential activities, this session will provide a rich and compassionate exploration of how play therapy can address the devastating effects of CSA—both short- and long-term.
The panel will then share their insights in response to a series of guided, thought-provoking questions.
Child sexual abuse (CSA) remains a deeply pervasive issue, with lifelong implications for those affected.
