Today we had an amazing day at hydrotherapy followed by a trip to the salon Lavish Hair and Beauty Co and then wheelchair trials. Tomorrow we will be going to watch gymnastics practice and then off to our favourite relaxation place . Thanks so much for all the fun times and your support Amy.

My beautiful mum gifted this sunflower picture to AEJ Disability Support, and it truly means the world to me—and to our whole family. 🌻
The sunflower has always been a symbol of strength, growth, and resilience—qualities that not only define AEJ but also reflect my personal journey.
This thoughtful gift will be proudly displayed as a daily reminder of the love and support that surrounds us.
Thank you, Mum. 🌻💚🌻💚

Meet Amy – Founder & Director of AEJ Disability Support

Hi, I’m Amy – an Independent Disability Support Worker and the proud Director of AEJ Disability Support.
AEJ was founded in 2024, inspired by my full name and built upon three powerful words that guide everything we do: Assist – Empower – Journey. These words represent the heart of my work and the values I bring to every person I support.
Our sunflower logo is a symbol of growth, resilience, and positivity. It reflects my personal journey—grounded in assisting others, blossoming into empowerment, and shaped by my experiences in both life and health. Like a sunflower turning toward the light, I strive to help others grow and shine in their own unique ways.
I bring over 7 years of experience in the disability sector, having worked across a wide range of roles, including:

-People & Culture Team Leader
-Disability Employment Specialist
-Recruitment for care providers
-Disability Support worker

These roles have given me valuable insights into the many ways we can support and uplift people living with disability. I'm passionate, dedicated, and always focused on building genuine, respectful relationships with those I work with.

I have successfully completed a Certificate III in Individual Support, and I am currently undertaking a Certificate IV in Disability. I hold current First Aid and CPR certifications, as well as Mental Health First Aid. My qualifications also include training in Administering Medication, Infection Control, and Disaster Recovery Concepts. In addition, I have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module, hold a NDIS Worker Screening Check, and possess a valid Working with Children Check.
To ensure the safety and peace of mind of those I support, I am fully covered by Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.

At AEJ Disability Support, I’m committed to delivering personalised, compassionate, and empowering support that truly makes a difference.

I look forward to meeting you and working together toward your goals, independence, and aspirations in life.

Amy 🌻💚
