GUARDIANS OF THE HEAVENLY GATE

The Story of the Race to the Heavenly Gate goes.

Long, long ago, there was no Chinese zodiac.
The Jade Emperor wanted to select 12 animals to be his guards.

He sent an immortal being into man’s world to spread the message that the earlier one went through the Heavenly Gate, the better the rank one would have.

The next day, animals set off towards the Heavenly Gate.

Rat got up very early. On his way to the gate, he encountered a river. He had to stop, owing to the swift current. After waiting a long time, Rat noticed Ox about to cross the river and swiftly jumped into Ox’s ear.

The diligent Ox did not mind at all and simply continued. After crossing the river, he raced towards the palace of the Jade Emperor.

Suddenly, Rat jumped out of Ox’s ear and dashed to the feet of the Emperor. Rat won first place and Ox was second. Tiger and Rabbit came third and fourth because both are fast and competitive. Rabbit got across the river by hopping on stepping stones and a floating log.

The noble Dragon flew in at fifth place, having stopped at a village to help bring rain to desperate farmers on the way.

The sixth position looked set to be in the Horse’s favour, as it came galloping in, but the Snake slithered off its front hoof at the last second, relegating the Horse to seventh place.

Goat, Monkey and Rooster worked together to build a raft to cross the river, coming in eighth, ninth, and tenth respectively.

The fun-loving Dog was a good swimmer and runner, but took its time to splash around and take a bath in the river, it still made it at the eleventh spot.

Last but not least was the Pig, who sauntered in after taking a nap in the middle of the race.

These 12 animals became guards of the Heavenly Gate.

The reconciliation, honouring, permission and patience needed, and being in right relationship, has taken me years.
They are not all ready to be birthed just yet but there are 3 that are. Can you guess which 3?

A huge congratulations to Alix .kinesiology who has successfully completed the Certificate of Kinesiology and is now an accredited ICPKP Kinesiology practitioner.

Alix has been a part of the school since day one and what a beautiful gift she is to all of us.

She has shown up to every class whilst also navigating some big life changes and transitions. She is the embodiment of the teachings and when we are prepared to work on what we need to in our lives, even when it is really hard, life responds in magical ways.

As a Kinesiology practitioner of 18 years and a teacher of 14 years the one question I wished a potential student would ask me is:

‘What are your qualifications & training and what makes you qualified to teach me?’

It astonishes me that there are kinesiology teachers in my industry who have not completed, at a basic level, a certificate or a diploma before they teach others.

Or they jump straight into teaching after completing a course without first embodying the work and integrating the foundations. It becomes about money and status.

Integrity, ethics, truth and transparency when teaching and committing to a student who has made a brave choice to follow their soul path is the foundation of who I am as a person and as a teacher.

What makes me qualified to teach?

After 5 years of full time training with PKP I have achieved the Post Graduate Diploma of Kinesiopractic as well as Professional

PKP Kinesiology is somatic therapy.

The Level 1 PKP Certificate of Kinesiology is no easy feat.

It is 12 months of not only learning an academic energy modality, which I consider the easy part, but of showing up for yourself and each other in every class regardless of what is transpiring in your life.

The frequency of the PKP modality will begin to gently vibrate what is no longer working in your life and what changes need to happen in order for your soul to become more aligned which will begin to be reflected back to you.

When you commit to learning kinesiology it begins to unlock within you what needs your attention, what needs to be witnessed and seen, what needs to heal and what needs to be let go of.

This is the gold of in person kinesiology training.

It is an honor to be a part of and witness each year’s intake of students who hold space for each other like the previous classes have.

Students describe the classroom as safe, supportive, respectful, honest, raw, emotional, transparent and brave.
It is the standard that has now been created as part of this school and is a non negotiable for all classes in the future.

Metal represents Autumn and our descent downwards into our own inner underworld.

Our mood can become more sombre as we witness the death of the year and with it our own symbolic death.

Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust

In Metal we come face to face with ourselves and must decide whether we like what we see.

It brings about a form of closure, as one cycle comes to an end and another lies in waiting, hidden from sight deep in Winter (Water Element).

The White Tiger represents strength, structure and protection, both energetically through our intended boundaries and psychic protection.

She is a loner, embodying her bravery, intuition and instincts, her inner strength and purity balances ferocity with wisdom.

She represents the feminine energy, the descending Yin whilst having a deep connection to the higher realms.
She is powerful and self-willed, gentle and caring to those she loves deeply.

Unlike pack animals, she walks alone, not out of isolation, but from a place of deep inner knowing and self trust.

Autumn is a time to remember to trust yourself fiercely, protect your energy, and honour the cycles of rest and action, pouncing when the moment is right.

You’re not meant to constantly perform or please.

The White Tiger reminds us to take up space, own our presence and never apologise for being a force of nature.
