Yep I'm heading back to school!
I'll be completing my Certificate 3 in Individual Support on Wednesdays as of next month.
I'm still juggling to try to fit my 5 weekdays in to 4, but I'm sure it'll work out well.
I told my kids I'm going to be a student again & realised "ooh I'll have a reason to go & buy new, cute stationary. The best part about studying!" & one said "No Mum, the best part about school is the friends you'll make" 🥹 "There'll be 15-20 in the class, do you think anyone will want to sit next to me & be my friend?" & they both answered excitedly "yeah! Of course!"

2 years ago I met Missy Higgins. I listened to nothing else when The Sound of White came out. Her music changed my life. I'm so glad she's having a massive resurgence, she absolutely deserves it. Yes, I fangirled- big time!

A morning very well spent!
Helping a wonderful client & Mum sort through her clothes.
I also hung out some washing & did some plant care. It's amazing what can get done in a few focused hours.
I'm currently booked out Wednesdays & Fridays but have the occasional Mon/Tue/Thurs free for in-home support on an ad-hoc basis, so please feel free to DM me ❤️🙏🌻

These beautiful words were shared with us during our Monday morning yoga session. The emphasis of the class was on Balance (which is my word for the year) & it was so nice to just be present & move my body in a gentle, loving way.
I just signed up for the gym & decided my first class last week would be pilates, to ease myself back in to exercising & so I wouldn't injure myself or fall in to the old patterning of diet culture telling me that exercise is punishment. I arrived for my pilates class only to be told it's cancelled & that the gym is currently closed for renovations, but would I like to do a kettle bell class instead? 😂 Talk about diving in head first, but I actually really enjoyed it! I also enjoyed the DOMS I experienced for 2 days since I hadn't worked those muscles in a very long time.
Today was a little more my speed and a beautiful way to start the week, taking care of myself.

On Saturday, my sister from another mister & I went to watch speak at Rowville Library & it was absolutely life changing.
This incredible woman has been through so much, stayed so steadfastly true to herself & has turned her pain in to power. Creating a safe space for all women & vulnerable members of society at where DV survivors can heal, work & gain their financial independence.
I cannot wait to read all about her life in her new book, I also bought the cookbook because her food is 👌
Afterwards we received wonderful service at where the decor & garden are just as beautiful as the food.
My soul is still singing with nourishment & joy.
