- Does Dr Rhau operate on uninsured patients?
Yes, Dr Rhau does operate on uninsured patients however, they will incur an out of pocket fee for Dr Rhau, the Surgical Assistant, the Hospital Admission, the Anaesthetist and for any post operative care such as Physiotherapy or Hand Therapy.
- Does Dr Rhau see patients insured under Workcover or other Third Party Insurers?
Yes, Dr Rhau does consult and perform surgical procedures on patients with an accepted claim through a Third Party Insurer. In this instance, all fees for both consultations and procedures are covered by the insurer.
- Where does Dr Rhau consult and operate?
Dr Rhau consults at 3 locations in Brisbane; Greenslopes, Beenleigh and Cleveland, as well as having a monthly clinic in Mackay. All procedures are performed at the Greenslopes Private Hospital, with the expectation of few smaller day case procedures which can be performed at the Mackay Specialist Day Hospital.
