🌟 Investing in Our Team’s Growth! 🌟

Our team have shared learning and professional development opportunities each week. Having the opportunity to all work on shared learning continues to enhance the services provided by all the team at Infinite Rehab.

In the last 12 months each staff member has had the opportunity to complete more than 60 hours of internal professional development opportunities provided by our Directors and other in house and external subject matter experts.

At Infinite Rehab, we believe that continuous learning is the key to providing exceptional care. This week the team all had hands on opportunity to refine their plastering skills. Led by Peter we can attest to plasters being applied to all staff, and yes, they were all safely removed with no cuts or scrapes from the plaster saw!!

🙌 A big shout-out to Aidacare Sylvania for an outstanding and enlightening scooter training morning! Our OT team soaked up valuable insights on mobility scooters, thanks to their expert guidance and hands on workshop. Kudos to the Aidacare team for keeping us informed and (em)powered! 🙏

Thanks to the Australian Physiotherapy Association's ongoing advocacy towards strong healthcare for all. If you watch through the video you might see our Director Julienne's contribution to the messaging put out by the APA. If you watched along, comment below so she'll know you've been watching and share the vision for removing barriers for our priority populations. You too can call on government to make these changes.

We call for the removal of barriers to efficient and cost-effective physiotherapy for people most in need and across our highest priority settings. Priority populations stand to benefit the most from physiotherapy-led interventions and we call for reforms across five key areas. Reform must focus on securing a better future for First Nations peoples and enabling health access for rural Australians. In addition, our care priorities must extend to securing the NDIS to support Australians with disability, funding for better aged care and support for our veterans.

Nothing makes us happier than seeing our customers satisfied with our services provided by the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Team. We share feedback and celebrate our staff achievements at our management meetings and all team meeting. We have heard from hundreds of our consumers in the recent years, and every time an email comes through our leaders do a little happy dance upon reading it!! ❤️

Brendan graduated in 2016 with a combined Bachelor of Health Science & Masters in Physiotherapy degree. During his time as a physio he has worked in various settings. Brendan started providing physiotherapy services in a residential aged care facility where he worked with older adults with a focus on pain management and maximising function in their homes. He then transitioned into a community role seeing clients with a range of clinical backgrounds before pivoting into his current role split between a community and clinic caseload. He has also previously worked in an acute setting at a private hospital predominantly managing rehab post elective surgeries such as knee replacement, hip replacements and spinal surgery.

Neurological physiotherapy continues to be an area of special interest to Brendan and he has completed multiple courses in the management of clients with various conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS) and motor neurone disease (MND).

In his spare time, he loves having fun with his rescue greyhound Noodle and enjoying the outdoors.

In the first week in May we joined the full team from Rehab Health and Fitness Australia for one of our 2 Annual full team training days. Across the day we focussed on

1️⃣ team building and strengthening
2️⃣ financial planning, tax planning and insurance information sessions and
3️⃣ positioning and wheelchair maintenance and training

We always share food, everyone bringing a plate, great coffee and the team finished the day bowling in North Strathfield.

It's always a great opportunity to come together the learn from each other and others. A massive thank you to the team at BYRONS, Professional Wealth Services Pty Ltd and Sunrise Medical for sharing your expertise with our team.
