Thank you for Smiling!
As we're faced with tighter lock-down rules it's wonderful to still be able to leave your home for a little exercise. What's more refreshing is that this morning, while walking on our local woodland park and canal bike track, everyone I came across acknowledged me with a cheerful "Good morning" or "Hello".
A smile can go a long way to help us feel more connected during this challenging time when we're having to practice "social distancing". But don't take my word for it, try it yourself.

The current spread of the coronavirus has the potential to elicit significant anxiety and worry amongst the general public.

At this point, there have been over 34,800 confirmed infected cases and over 700 deaths attributed to the virus globally. Individuals who have died from this coronavirus are individuals who would have been at similar risk from a common seasonal influenza, which helps to contextualise the lethality of this outbreak.
