Proud moment for our team 🎉

We’re excited to share that Dr Mags Minogue has officially received her Rural Generalist qualification—recognising advanced skills and commitment to providing high-quality care in a small town setting.

A Rural Generalist is a GP with additional training to deliver a broader scope of care that is required in rural communities, including but not limited to emergency care.

This achievement reflects her dedication to our community and ensuring patients have access to comprehensive, local healthcare.

Congratulations—we’re lucky to have you! 👏

Influenza (flu) is serious, but isn’t as scary if you’re vaccinated. A flu vaccine offers you and your child the best protection from serious illness.

The yearly flu vaccine is free for children aged 6 months to under 5 years, Aboriginal children aged 6 months and over, and children with serious health conditions. It is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and over.

If your child is 2, 3 or 4 years old, they can get a free nasal spray flu vaccine in NSW. It is gentle, painless, and needle-free.

Book your family’s flu vaccine today: www.healthdirect.gov.au/nswfluvaccine

Over the next two weeks Gundagai Medical Centre will have limited opening hours due to the holiday season while we give our team a well deserved break.

We will be here on all days that are not public holidays (please see our posted opening hours), however we may close earlier on these days depending on demand.

If you are in need of an appointment we encourage you to ring earlier in the day so that our friendly team can help you. If you do try to reach us and our phones ring out, we might have left for the day.

Just a reminder if you have an issue you feel cannot wait until the next appointment you can contact Health Direct on “1800 022 222”. If you have a more urgent matter or a medical emergency please present to your nearest emergency department or call “000” as you feel appropriate.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time, and wish all of you a safe and happy festive season 🎄🎄🎄
