Did you know that every year, Chemist Group produces a community calendar, as a way to help people stay on track with their life admin, and also give back to the community?

Our colourful calendar is made available at all Capital Chemist pharmacies for a gold coin donation, with the proceeds raised later donated to a charity.

This year, we were able to raise $10,813.96, which we proudly chose to donate to OzHarvest; an amazing charity that delivers thousands of meals each week in our regions. Incredibly, this donation means there will be 21,628 meals on peoples’ tables over coming weeks.

Melatonin MR – Now available without a prescription for patients aged 55+
Melatonin MR is a short-term treatment of primary insomnia, characterised by poor quality sleep, in adults aged 55 years and above.
It contains 2 mg of melatonin in a modified released tablet which helps regulate your internal body clock to help you fall asleep more easily, improve sleep quality and wake feeling alert.
This slow releasing form lasts throughout the night as it mimics naturally-occurring melatonin.

Did you know babies under 12 months old are particularly vulnerable to whooping cough? This way, you can provide them with a protective shield from this preventable disease.

Congratulations to Rebecca Young and Rachel Rhodes from Capital Chemist Chisholm who are the proud owners of the pharmacy in Thredbo Resort, now known as Capital Chemist Thredbo!
This is a unique environment; the pharmacy only operates in winter, with health and beauty products for sale in summer. With plenty of partners and staff within Capital Chemist Group looking forward to a visit we wish them well!
