On Wednesday Brenton attended a presentation at led by Brent from and Canrecover around the role Allied health plays in cancer recovery and the importance of Movement, Massage, Psychology and diet in Cancer recovery. What Brent and his team are doing in this area of health is amazing and bringing about meaningful change 👏

We heard stories of Cancer thrivers and also from an amazing young man and author, Angus Cunningham. Angus has battled cancer not once, but twice before reaching the age of 12 and is truly an inspirational story.

This may seem a little different to the usual eye related courses we attend here at IC Optometrist. We see and acknowledge the importance in working alongside our allied health partners to ensure that together we are giving the best possible care to our patients.
Last week we hosted our first networking and nibbles event which included GPs, Pharmacists, Excercise Physiologists and Ophthalmologists. We are very excited to watch these relationships grow and bring change to healthcare.

We’re also happy to share that Leilei has returned from maternity leave and will be with us a few days a week 💙

Merry Christmas!

We would like to thank all of our amazing customers for your support throughout the year. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know our newer customers and continuing to build relationships with those who have been here for the long haul.
We couldn't do it without your continued support.

Sadly we say goodbye to the lovely Arti as the year ends. We wish her all the success in her ventures in wollongong.

2026 will be a great year and we are all looking forward to Leilei returning to the practice after her 12 months off to raise her beautiful little bub.
