2025 = 2+0+2+5 = 9️⃣ The Hemit

✨ Number 9 is the number of individuality and ego (the idea of I, who you think you are).

Look at the 4 nines of the minor arcana, they represent a period of reflection, consolidation, perseverance and resilience. A time just before ultimate completion.

9 is 3x3, the Trinity X Trinity, the Trinity of 'god' squared ⬛

9 is the penultimate number before the completion of the cycle at 10.

What we apply at 9 will be amplified and manifested into our reality during 10.

✨ In the Naples Arrangement, 9 is the Points idea of Being (Sat)

Sat: truth, absolute being or existence– that which is enduring and unchanging.

The 10 is the cycle fulfilled in its complement, as determined by 7, 8 and 9 (Sat-Chit-Anada)

(Sat-chit-ananda (सच्चिदानन्द) is a Sanskrit term that translates to "existence, consciousness, and bliss" or "truth, consciousness, bliss". It is a key concept in Hinduism and Advaita Vedanta philosophy, and is considered to be the pinnacle of non-dual understanding.)

✨ 9- The Hermit

The Hermit card is associated with Chiron in Virgo.
Chiron represents our wounded warrior. The trauma scars that we cannot ever fully heal, but can learn to live with and work with in a positive manner

This is the year to go within. To sink into introspection, solitude, journalling and meditation.

This is the year for spiritual quest; the quest to Know Thyself.

Use this time to withdraw from the noise of external influences and opinions; news, social media, TV....and quietly check in with yourself.

Are your thoughts and opinions truly yours?
Do they line up with your values and your mission in this realm? Or are they projections that serve your unhealed aspects and fears?

Use Virgo's analytical skills to create distance from the sea of your emotions and thoughts, view them with impassivity and glimpse the monsters that lurk beneath. Be the witness.

Shadow work will be very important in 2025.
Reflect on your thoughts and feelings, examine yourself with curiosity.

Be true regarding your dark side, and be brutally honest when studying your motives and actions.
Give yourself grace and compassion no matter what you find...and then help others to do the same.

The soul work we do this year will frame where we end up collectively and individually in 2026 when the Wheel of Fortune spins....will we be on top of the wheel rising into the bright sunlight? Or will we be sliding downwards into degradation and darkness 🎡

14 - Temperance 🔥💧✨

This card is also known as The Alchemist, Art, and Daughter of the Reconcilers.

To forge a great sword the Smith works hard at the firey flames of the forge beating the metal into its desired form, then he tempers the steel to harden it by quenching in water.
So this is the first card in the tarot journey where we actively DO something, the Alchemist is working diligently to perfect his art; mixing fire and water to make light.

When the firey world of the spirt and the watery realm of intuition are brought into harmonious balance, a mental sword with a razor sharp edge is created.

Between abstinence and excess lays moderation. Between push and pull exists flow. Temperance....the middle way.

Temperance walks the middle path, considering and utilising both sides equally, but not swinging wildly in either direction.

This card represents centre path on the Qabbalistic Tree of Life that runs between watery Yessod (the moon) and firey Tipereth (the sun).

The astrological association for this card is Sagittarius ♐ ruled by wise and expansive Jupiter.

A rainBOW is created by fire from the sun and water from the rain. And it has a strong connection to Sagittarius 🌈 🏹
This is association is seen clearly in Crowley's Thoth deck, and decks inspired by his designs (check out 8 of Wands, Mercury in Sagittarius as well.).

This visual theme alludes to the paths on the Hermetic Tree of Life; the water of Yessod combining with the fire of Tipereth to create a tool (bow) that will launch energy down the tree to manifestation in Malkuth, and up the tree to source and higher self in Kether.
