Absolute Care For You

Absolute Care For You Absolute Care For You supports you through personalised care coordination for your support at home funding. I grew up in a family that cared for others.

We assist with daily supports, designing your care plan, ensuring you feel informed, and empowered to choose services that suit your needs. I started 'Absolute Care For You' in September 2022, when I saw firsthand a need for consistent in-home support services for seniors in my local community. My ahh, ahh moment came to me while watching the documentary 'Everybody's Oma'. Oma was a lady living with a diagnosis of dementia and the documentary follows her family's journey caring for Oma. In one scene the family struggled to find external carers to attend their home. In this moment I realised I needed to make a career change and become that carer that would offer absolute care to my client's. My family background has been an inspiration for my caring nature. My parents looked after an elderly friend in our home and later cared for their parents. We would often go to friend's homes to help them in times of need. My parents were very caring and giving of their time. They were also foster parents to many children. I now have two sisters that came to live in our home, one aged 7 and the other aged around 6 months at the time. Our family of 6 became a family of 8. During research to start my support care business 'Absolute Care For You' I discovered an opportunity to become a care coordinator partnering with Trilogy Care, to offer seniors who have Home Care Package funding, assistance to navigate the My Aged Care application process and organise the care services and support they require and choose for their individual needs. I'm so excited to offer my Gympie community and the surrounding areas my services and expertise. I look forward to assisting you all as the need arises in your life. Much love Judith.

✨ HOME MODIFICATIONS ✨

A reminder for aged care recipients receiving in-home care as part of the Home Care Package program, that you can make home modifications to support your ageing. My Aged Care offers funding assistance for changes to your home that help you live safely and independently.

Modifications to your home should always reflect your assessed needs. For example, if you’re concerned about falling, you might consider installing grab rails in your shower.

Here are some common household modifications that can improve your safety and independence:

🎄Grab rails – prevents falls in the shower, bath, or toilet

🎄Ramps – ensures easy wheelchair access

🎄Easy-access taps – helps if you have arthritis or a weakened grip

🎄Accessible cooking appliances – provides assistance for those with mobility challenges

🎄Long-handled gardening tools – enhances safety while gardening

🎄Step modifications – ensures safer movement around your home

🎄Handrails – improves safety on stairs

🎄Adapted cutlery – assists those with weak grips or tremors while eating

If you’re unsure about the types of modifications you need, please reach out to me so I can arrange a referral for an in-home assessment to recommend modifications tailored to your circumstances.

I’m here to help and look forward to hearing from you.

Much love to all,

Judith 💜
