Something most of you won’t know about me. My husband and I never in the governments terms “got married” instead we did a traditional hand-fast ceremony as a commitment ceremony to each other. This ceremony happened nearly 13 years ago on my birthday in a sheering shed in the small town of Delveen just outside of Warwick. We have been blessed to attend many celebrations at this shed over the years and on the holidays my family and I got to go back to the shed again for a 21st.

Nervous system reset. I’m someone who prides themselves of practicing what they preach and making it a priority to listen to their body. On the Luna new year, my husband Mik and I also celebrated our 13 year anniversary. So on the weekend to welcome in the new energies of the fire horse we went away. Peace and quiet, rest and restore, lots of baths to help calm the body and mind and even an in room massage. Was just bliss!!

About 6 weeks ago I decided to take a big break from social media. (Which was the best decision I ever made) but today is a super important day for me so thought I would share.

Today 21 years ago my beautiful first born made the transition earthside. He was a massive surprise only deciding to inform me he was coming at just sort of 29 weeks.

He one of my proudest achievements and is the most loving gentle soul u could ever come across. Happy 21st birthday Xander. Love mum

School holidays done and dusted for another term. One of the reasons I love working for myself is because I get to dictate when and how I work. Don’t get me wrong I love my job but being able to spend time with my family will always be put first. School holidays were filled with beach days, sleep overs, horse riding motorbike riding, ear piercings camping and someone turning 10. Will be forever grateful for the life we live, we’re we live my family and my wonderful job.

When my dad passed away 12 months ago I promised myself that moving forward living life would always come first over work and chores. Don’t get me wrong I love my job but I don’t want my time to be up and have lots of regrets. Last week my husband, daughter and I spent a wonderful week in Bali. Bali was our home away from home pre covid. It was so nice to be back amongst the nicest people in the work the Balinese. Today I am back in the office ready to take on the world and help support my beautiful clients live their best life.

Bitter sweet day today - as a parent your 2 biggest jobs with your kids is to give them the skills to look after themselves and give them the skills to look after others. My promise to my kids has always been this, which means chores and life skills has always been apart of their day today. Today my big kid took the big leap and spread his wings. I know what ever he does or where ever he lives he will do me proud, but today mumma bear is processing the idea of 2 and a half hours being a bit too far away for me.
