Supporting Chemotherapy In Cooloola Inc SCIC was formed to assist local families suffering the effects of the 'Big C' by providing a home away from home during their treatment and journey.

We are a non profit support group that has raised several hundred thousand dollars for the construction of units. Also along the way this committee donated thousands of dollars worth of equipment to the public and private hospitals of Gympie. Such items as cannulation chairs and other valued items. SCIC are doing a free bbq at new North Park display village launch that is happening right now at Heights Drive.

Bilko will be Broadcasting Live from 10 – 1 and the Zinc Zoolanders will be there with heaps of goodies, Jumping Castle, Petting Zoo and Face Painting.

Some fantastic prizes will be given away throughout the day and include 2 nights accommodation at the Mariners Reach Apartments, passes to the Gympie Music Muster and the Gympie Show, plus some great outdoor living giveaways!

Thank you to Gympie Brothers for giving SCIC the opportunity to run the bar at their Old Boys RLF Club 1930-1997 Reunion on Saturday night. Also a big thank you to our volunteers aswell. We had a fun filled, jam packed night! We couldn’t do things like this without you.
