😴 Thinking About a Sleep Study? Here’s How to Get Started! 🛌

If you’re struggling with snoring, restless nights, daytime fatigue, or think you might have sleep apnoea, a sleep study could be the first step to better sleep and better health!

👉 Here’s how the sleep study process works:
1. Talk to Your GP and Get a Referral:
Start by discussing your sleep concerns with your doctor. They may provide you with a referral or a letter requesting a sleep study.

2. Book in For a Referral Consult:
Once you have your referral, contact us to book in for your referral consult (www.directsleepclinic.com.au/bookings or (07) 53460160). This is a 20 minute appointment where we start all your paperwork and look at your Medicare eligibility. Our referral administration fee is payable at this appointment. This $50 fee covers all 3 appointments in the sleep study process.

3. Schedule and Attend Your Sleep Study:
At the referral consult, we will schedule your home based sleep study. We will also discuss what is expected on the day of your sleep study. We will next see you when you come in to get wired up to complete the sleep study.

4. Get Your Results & Next Steps:
After the study, our sleep specialists will review your data and produce a report. Once the results have been received back we will contact you to book an appointment to discuss these. A copy will also be sent directly to your GP.
