Spiritually, the neck is the gateway between the mind and heart, and houses the Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) — your center for communication, truth, and spiritual will.

When the neck holds tension, it can signal:
• Blocked soul expression – not living in full truth or dimming your voice due to fear or trauma.

• Suppressed inner knowing – not speaking what you feel because of conditioning.

• Over-obedience or control – the neck can stiffen when we’re trying to “keep our head down” or be overly responsible.

• Energetic disconnection – from higher guidance, when you’re stuck in the intellect but not grounded in inner truth.

Spiritually, a stiff or painful neck can reflect being “stuck between paths”, resisting surrender, or denying a deep calling.

Our 9-year-old daughter was experiencing severe anxiety—she struggled to get into the car, frequently felt overwhelmed to the point of vomiting, and needed to shower multiple times a day to clear the overwhelm. Her confidence was extremely low; she avoided playing with neighbors, resisted trying anything new, and was falling behind in school, often in tears over her struggles.

Jodie did a house clearing and created a personalized blend of Australian Bush Flower Essences for her, and within two weeks, we noticed a shift. After a month, the transformation has been incredible. She is now receiving awards at school, feeling happy and confident, engaging with friends, and trying new things. She even stands up for herself, whereas before, she would have simply withdrawn in tears. Car rides are no longer an issue, and she is thriving in ways we never imagined.
