Meet Dr Melody Wheaton, the newest addition to the Peelwood Medical Team! ✨

Dr Melody (MD, FRACGP) is a General Practitioner originally from Canada, with a background in pharmacy. She completed her medical training at The University of Western Australia in 2017 and has experience across a variety of hospital specialties, particularly in emergency medicine, before moving into general practice.

Dr Melody has a special interest in women’s health, paediatrics, minor procedures, and preventative health. She is committed to providing patient-centred care for individuals and families.

Outside of work, Dr Melody enjoys cycling and making the most of the beautiful sunshine and coastal lifestyle in Western Australia.

Meet Dr Htet (Ted) Oo, the newest addition to our team at Peelwood Family Medical Practice! ✨

Dr Htet is a general practitioner who has trained in UK for the last 7 years. He has recently relocated to Western Australia to enjoy its beautiful beaches.

As a GP, he is confident in managing patients in a wide variety of range including children, elderly and adults of all spectrum of genders.

Currently, he is passionate to up skill his dermatology and minor surgery skills to be able to provide better care for his patients.

In his free time, he loves playing badminton and chess. Moreover, he enjoys a relaxed time walking along the beach

Meet the newest addition to our team, Dr Naychi Oo! ✨

Dr Naychi Oo is a dedicated General Practitioner who recently relocated to Australia from UK. To Dr. Naychi Oo, being a GP is more than a career; it is a privilege to provide a supportive hand to patients throughout their health journeys.

Her special interests include:

🔵 Chronic Disease & Weight Management
🔵 Acute & Emergency Medicine
🔵 Women’s & Children’s Health
🔵 Geriatric Medicine
🔵 Dermatology & ENT

Dr. Oo is currently upskilling in procedural medicine. She is expanding her expertise in women’s health procedures and skin cancer medicine to provide more integrated, “one-stop” care for her patients.

She loves to spend her leisure time walking along the beach, hitting the gym, or exploring new places or challenging herself in an escape room with her husband, or just simply spending time with her two beloved “fur babies.”

Dr Josephine has been working as a GP for 6 years in Australia and developed a special interest in women’s and children’s health. Dr Josephine Tiu has good exposure to other aspects of general practice like mental health, men’s health and others. She is happy to see you with any medical needs and help you recover to optimum health.

She enjoys exploring Western Australia in her free time with her husband and teenage son. She is also a proud pawmum to her dog, Eli.
