This is my calm place. My hobbies. I was always a tomboy. Climbing trees, riding bikes and rough housing with the boys at school.
I never understood girl friendships. I was just different.
So my bellydancing and crochet are allowing me to get in touch with my feminine and creative sides respectively.
They’re both good for my mental health.
This is my latest and I’m gifting it to someone who I believe needs to know she’s appreciated.

The video cut off at the end. Sorry guys. About panic attacks, anxiety, stress.
The bit I missed due to the live dropping out was to put cold compresses on the jaw and neck to help vagal tone. Ice baths are good for anxiety but if you have adrenal exhaustion best to avoid.
Deep breathing is good to control the fight or flight too.
Maybe I’ll do a part 2.
Anyway I hope this helps.

Our vagus nerve is the tenth cranial nerve in the spine. It’s the gateway to many processes in our body from our respiratory system, heart and our gut. Hence the term gut brain axis. Or our second brain. If we are stress messages between the gut and brain travel via the vagus nerve. Hence why when worried we get diarrhoea or tummy upset.
There are great books out on the subject.

I’m aiming to do the live tomorrow afternoon or evening. I’ve written some notes and hopefully will look presentable. Haha.
Sorry for delay. I tend to be very busy in all that I do. But yes taking my own advice and reducing that down. Hence why I chose self care instead of the live. I’m learning. Slowly.

Hi gang.
I completely got caught up in today’s events and I forgot to finish my prep for tonight’s talk. So be patient with me and I’ll som to do it in the next few days.
Apologies. I had a big arvo with performing my bellydance for an aged care village. Totally swept me away and loved every minute of it.
So I’m now knackered.
The talk will be about fats. I’m really sinking my teeth into it (pun intended) and love researching it but yeah not in right space to talk.

I’ve been eating lots of healthy food and thankfully lost 25kg! Tonight I’ve got air fried sweet potato chips with salad and a protein wrap filled with smoked salmon and cream cheese. Burp! I’m full.
Would you eat something like this?
