👉👉👉 A reminder our DRAFT Budget 2026/27 is out for consultation, and it’s time for you to have your say. 👍Once Melton residents have had a say ALL comments will be taken into account BEFORE we put the Draft Budget to a Meeting of Council to go up for adoption. I will announce when the BUDGET has been approved by Council in the coming months.

Victoria Police hosted the Police Neighbourhood Policing Forum at Kurunjang Community Hub on Wednesday evening. 👍🤩
These forums are vitally important in giving local residents opportunity to hear from their local Police members and ask questions about community safety.

We’ve just released our Draft Budget 2026/27 for consultation, and it’s time for you to have your say.

At the heart of this year’s Budget is a $255.23 million capital works program - one of the largest undertaken by any local government in Victoria.

The Budget has been informed by extensive community consultation: we invited community suggestions for projects, initiatives and programs as part of the Budget development process, and more than $27.6 million in funding has been allocated to support the delivery of 64 of those ideas.

Yesterday I was honoured to attend the presentation by the Melton RSL Sub Branch - “A short history 40 years” . Well done to Russel on your presentation. 🤩 This event formed part of our Melton City Libraries Heritage Festival! There are lots of fabulous workshops and presentations to enjoy over these 2 weeks!
