To every mum, mother-in-law, step-mum, grandma, nana, aunty, and every person who has ever shown up with the love and care of a mother figure, today is for YOU.

Earlier this week we had a wonderful time celebrating with some of our very favourite people at our Mother's Day afternoon tea. Take a scroll through these precious images and spot your favourite faces. We think you'll agree, the smiles say it all.

Participants and staff enjoyed a great month of Community Connections outings, sharing meals and good company at The Cally, Alexandra House and the Grand Central Hotel.

Each outing brought something a little different, but the common thread was connection - time spent together, conversations shared and the simple enjoyment of getting out and about in the community. 🧡

Happy International Dance Day 💃🕺

There’s nothing quite like music to get everyone moving, and our sessions of Music with Garry are the perfect example.

Participants are encouraged to get up, move their bodies, feel the rhythm and enjoy the moment. It’s not just about dancing, but about building confidence, improving coordination, boosting mood and having fun together.

As you can see, there’s plenty of energy (and smiles) in the Green Room when the music starts! 🎶

A lovely way to mark Tea Day ☕

Participants and staff enjoyed a relaxed morning tea with scones, jam and cream, the perfect excuse to pause, catch up and enjoy something sweet together.

Special shoutout to Nic, who enjoyed his scone so much he ended up with a little cream on his nose - the mark of a true scone connoisseur! 🍰😄

A great example of community voices being heard 👏

This week, Mulleraterong welcomed representatives from Southern Grampians Shire Council - Jesse, Jane and Alison - to speak directly with our participants about the future of the new Community Hub, Library and Civic Square.

Participants shared their ideas, feedback and experiences, helping to shape spaces that are inclusive, accessible and truly reflective of our community. The project is part of a broader invitation for residents to contribute ideas on what would make these spaces welcoming and well-used into the future.

Opportunities like this are so important, ensuring people of all abilities have a voice in community planning and decision-making.

Thank you to Southern Grampians Shire Council for engaging with our participants and valuing their input. 🧡

We extend our sincere condolences to Trish and her family on the recent passing of her father, David William Fowler.

David was a devoted father, family man and friend, whose humour and kindness left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

David’s service was held on Monday, April 13 at Nelson Bros Funeral Services in Williamstown, followed by a burial service on Wednesday, April 15 at Glenthompson Cemetery.

Our thoughts are with Trish and her family during this difficult time. 🧡
