Our latest visit to the Farm was full of special moments. 🐴🐶🐮
There were gentle pats for the dogs and clydesdales, and cheeky smiles while feeding the donkeys and longhorn cows, and quiet moments of reflection with furry friends.
Every photo captured the joy, connection and calm this experience brings.

After a picnic lunch and some time exploring, we wrapped up with a treat of Zappos under the warm sun.

We recently celebrated creativity, connection, and community at the South West Inclusion Festival Art Exhibition!
Held at South West TAFE in Warrnambool in the first week of December, the exhibition was open to all people with disability and showcased a diverse range of art forms including painting, drawing, sculpture and photography.

Some of our talented participants entered their own work, and as part of our Community Connections Calendar we all got to travel down and celebrate everyone's achievements.

Congratulations to the following participants:

🎄 Centre Closure Reminder 🎄
As we wrap up a wonderful year at Mulleraterong, we wish to remind our families and community that the Centre will close for the Christmas and New Year period from Friday 19 December.

Our last day of programs will be Friday 19 December, finishing at 2pm, and we’ll return on Monday 5 January 2026 feeling refreshed and ready for a great year ahead!

Wishing everyone a safe, happy and restful break! Thank you for being part of our Mulleraterong family and we look forward to seeing you again in 2026!

Our participants had a wonderful time celebrating the 20th birthday of Party with the Ponies at the Hamilton Racing-Club! 💚

Held in celebration of International Day of People with Disability (IWPwD), this annual event is always a highlight on our Community Connections Calendar, and this year’s milestone made it even more special.

From the friendly ponies and festive activities to all the wonderful moments shared with friends from across the region, the day was filled with inclusion and community spirit. Congratulations to the Fashions on the Field winner - Jessica 👏

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the event so memorable!

Our participants had an incredible time soaking up the festive atmosphere, waving to the crowd, and proudly taking their place in one of Hamilton’s most cherished community traditions.

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff - Sallie, Chelsea, Bonnie, Nisara, Darcy, Sarah T, Sarah O and Bev - for supporting everyone to take part with confidence, joy and connection.

And a very special shout‑out to Claire for organising our fantastic reindeer, with heartfelt thanks to Josh Bell and the team at The Outside Inn, Wannon Falls, whose generosity and enthusiasm helped bring that Christmas magic to life. 🦌💫

Mulleraterong Centre is seeking new Board Members to help guide and support our work as we continue to deliver high-quality programs for people with disability in the Southern Grampians region.

We're looking for people who are:
🔸 Passionate about equity and inclusion
🔸 Thoughtful, community-minded and willing to collaborate
🔸 Interested in governance, finance, strategy, or advocacy (but no prior board experience is necessary!)
🔸 Committed to making a difference in the lives of participants and families

The St Mary’s Christmas Parade never disappoints! 🎄✨
We had a fantastic time taking part in this beloved Hamilton tradition, proudly joining the colourful floats, festive music and sea of smiling faces that brought the CBD to life. It’s a day we look forward to every year, and such a wonderful opportunity to be part of the wider community coming together in celebration.

Moments like these remind us just how powerful visibility, inclusion and shared joy can be.

Our participants had a magical time at the Greater Hamilton Library’s Christmas Special Event yesterday, held in celebration of International Day of People with Disability.

From singing along to favourite Christmas tunes, to getting crafty, listening to festive stories, and of course – a visit from the one and only Santa – it was a joyful morning of connection, laughter, and community spirit.

A huge thank you to the Greater Hamilton Library team for not only hosting such an inclusive and welcoming event, but for being a space our participants love visiting all year round. Moments like these remind us how powerful inclusive community spaces can be.

Today is International Day of People with Disability – a day to celebrate inclusion, amplify voices, and recognise the contributions of people with disability in our communities.

This year’s global theme is “Fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress.” At Mulleraterong, it’s a mission we live every day - by creating spaces where everyone belongs, is supported to thrive, and is empowered to pursue their goals.

From meaningful programs and strong partnerships to shared experiences and community connections – our Centre is a vibrant example of what inclusion looks like in action.

Join us in marking this important day and celebrating the incredible individuals, families, staff and volunteers who make up the Mulleraterong community. Let’s continue to build a more accessible, inclusive and diverse society – together.
